Aims And Scope

Research Journal of Agriculture and Veterinary Sciences is an open access, Bimonthly, peer reviewed journal. The Journal publishes in all major disciplines and sub disciplines under- Agronomy, Horticulture, Soil Science, Plant Pathology, Entomology, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Medicine, Fisheries, Agricultural Economics, Food Security and allied agricultural sciences.

Research Journal of Agriculture and Veterinary Sciences operates a Special Issue system that brings together collections of papers on focused topics, building a community of authors and readers around the latest research.

Submission Guidelines

Manuscripts should be prepared according to the author guidelines. All submissions undergo rigorous peer review and must be original, not previously published, and not under consideration elsewhere.

• Prepare — read the guidelines and prepare your files.
• Submit — through the online submission system or by e-mail.
• Plagiarism — similarity must be below 20%; all submissions are screened.
• Review — evaluated by independent reviewers (double-blind).
• Revision — incorporate feedback and resubmit.
• Publication — typeset, assigned a DOI and published open access.

Author Guidelines

• Title & Affiliation — a concise title, with each author’s full name, department, institution, city and country.
• Corresponding Author — full name, institution, city, state, country, telephone, fax and e-mail.
• Abstract — a self-explanatory, comprehensive and brief summary.
• Keywords — 4–6 keywords in alphabetical order, separated by semicolons.
• Text Structure — Introduction, Materials & Methods, Results, Discussion and References.
• Acknowledgement — funding, grants and declarations of conflict of interest.

Publication Ethics

Research Journal of Agriculture and Veterinary Sciences upholds the highest standards of ethical behaviour and integrity in scholarly publishing. The following outlines our publication ethics and measures against malpractice.

• Authorship — all authors must have made substantial contributions; honorary authorship and ghostwriting are unethical.
• Plagiarism — strictly prohibited; violations lead to rejection or retraction.
• Conflicts of Interest — authors, reviewers and editors must disclose conflicts.
• Peer Review — double-blind evaluation by subject experts.
• Editorial Independence — decisions based on merit alone.
• Data Integrity — fabrication, falsification and selective reporting are serious violations.
• Corrections & Retractions — issued promptly where required.

Plagiarism Policy

Plagiarism in any form is a serious violation of academic integrity. All submitted manuscripts undergo a plagiarism check using advanced detection software, and similarity reports are reviewed by the editorial team. Manuscripts with evidence of plagiarism are rejected; if detected after publication, the article may be retracted.

• Similarity threshold must be below 20%.
• Authors must cite all sources and provide attribution.
• Self-plagiarism should be properly referenced.
• Suspected plagiarism can be reported to the editorial office.

Peer Review Policy

All research articles published in Research Journal of Agriculture and Veterinary Sciences follow a rigorous, independent, double-blind peer-review process to ensure unbiased and constructive evaluation.

• Double-Blind — identities of authors and reviewers are kept confidential.
• Expert Reviewers — selected on subject expertise; conflicts of interest are managed.
• Constructive Reports — clear, evidence-based feedback.
• Editorial Decision — accept, minor revision, major revision or reject.

Refund Policy

Article processing charges become due once the editorial board accepts the article for publication. An author may withdraw an article at no charge within 7 days of initial submission.

• Full refund if the paper does not reach the reviewing stage, or is not accepted.
• No refund after consideration, after declining to revise, or once published.
• Refunds are processed in 20–30 working days.
• Extra payment returned within 3 weeks if reported within 2 days.

Certificate Sample

Research Journal of Agriculture and Veterinary Sciences issues a certificate of publication for accepted and published articles, acknowledging the authors, article title, journal name and publication details.

• Publication Certificate — issued to authors on publication.
• Reviewer Certificate — for contribution to peer review.
• Editorial Certificate — for editorial service.
